Software Engineer

Our AI-powered knowledge search engine provides legal professionals with precise access to internal data and delivers critical insights to enhance decision-making, streamline processes, improve case outcomes, and optimize resource allocation. We're looking for a skilled Software Engineer to join our team in Zürich. In this role, you'll be responsible for developing both frontend and backend systems, implementing new features, and closely collaborating with our machine learning engineers and the broader engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and optimization of our applications
• Analyzing and modifying existing software as well as designing, developing, testing and maintaining new software (frontend & backend)
• Identifying and fixing technical problems as they arise
• Working closely with the engineering team to build an awesome product
• Collaborate with machine learning engineers to ensure seamless integration of AI models
• Maintain and improve code quality, organization, and automation
• Demonstrate interest in machine learning, although prior knowledge is not required

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Python / TypeScript / Rust / React or similar technologies
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud-based technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn quickly
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Interest in machine learning and AI
